My sister and I floated into afternoon tea fully prepared to be elegant… and immediately became professional sandwich critics and part-time models 😉 The rose tea was soft, floral, and basically a warm hug wearing perfume. Between sips, we happily worked through delicate sandwiches, dreamy desserts, and pastries so pretty they practically demanded their own close-ups. Naturally, we delivered a full photo shoot. Teacups lifted. Pinkies poised. Lighting checked. Pastries that kept our tummies happy.

If you go, do not skip the Palm Court Blend. It’s a gorgeous mix of Chinese white tea, hibiscus, rosehip, and pink rose petals that tastes like a garden decided to become a luxury experience. Light, fragrant, and just the right amount of fancy, it pairs perfectly with everything on those tiered trays. One sip makes you feel refined. Three sips and suddenly you understand posture.

Honestly, the whole afternoon felt like living inside a very glamorous mood board at The Langham Hotel in Chicago. Incredible tea, tiny sandwiches, stunning desserts, and quality sista sista time with a side of camera roll chaos. Come hungry, come camera-ready, and absolutely stop to smell the rose tea!! The bubbles were nice for a cheers too 🙂
