Norway is one ofย my favorite countries in the world! I had no idea how much I would like it when I initially booked the trip with my friend Tiffany. In late July of this year, we headed to Norway, starting our adventure in the beautiful town of Bergen. I’ve already blogged all about Bergen specifically since it quickly turned into one of my favorite cities in the world! You can find out why and check out my specific Bergen recommendations here! Beyond Bergen, my friend and I also took a train to Flam, went on multiple boats through the famous fjords, and took a train ride withย epic views all the way to Oslo.

I fell in love with Norway because of its natural beauty (it is simply gorgeous and a Instagrammer’s dream location), theย fact that it has quaint village towns (they’re adorable) AND happening city life. What more could you want!? No really, what more could you WANT! I LOVE NORWAY! I already want to go back to visit Stavangerย and more of the southernย side of the country. I feel like I barely scratched the surface of all there is to see and do there. The highlights of my visit to Norway include: exploring Bergen, boating through the fjords, training through the country side, and enjoying city life in Oslo including a must visit to the Nobel Peace Center.

Beyond the sites, Norway is a very international country, with a diverse set of cultures and vibes and landscapes. The city vibes of Oslo actually reminded me of the laid back culture of California. It has so many neighborhoods and parks to explore and hang out in, not to mention there are opportunities to be out on the water boating. To get from one side of the country to the other I would recommend the train since the views are absolutely incredible! Some people opt to rent a car to get to more of the remote areas, but if you have limited time and want to see the highlights you should go byย train.

Check out my Image Gallery to see why Norway easily made my list of favorites. The next time you have an opportunity to head to Europe in summer, I HIGHLY recommend you swing up to Norway. I can’t speak to it during the winter time, but I can for sure tell you it is wonderful in July ๐Ÿ™‚
