My favorite part of being on Bali was the access to the unbelievably delicious, colorful, healthy and affordable smoothie bowls all around the island. 8 of the MOST Gorgeous, Delicious and Affordable Smoothie Bowls in Bali, Indonesia
1. Kynd Community, Seminyak (69k)
I knew about this place before I even landed in Bali, I think Instagram made it famous thanks to their pink wall with the quote “another day in paradise” and the fact that they will write anything on your smoothie bowl, customized to your liking. I regret not asking them to do “FHTS” or “Sunday” or something but I loved my bowl since it said LOVE.
2. The Cashew Tree, Bingin (70 – 80k)
I made my way to Uluwatu and Bingin after exploring Seminyak and Canggu and was nervous because I wasn’t finding smoothie bowl cafes as easily! Finally, I found this spot and it did not disappoint. I specifically recommend the papaya bowl.
3. Betelnut Cafe, Canggu (60k)
Betelnut Cafe certainly tops the list as one of my absolute favorites. I enjoyed working from here because the internet is strong, the atmosphere is cozy and their mango smoothie bowl is delicious. They have a downstairs with AC and also an upstairs area when the weather is nice.
4. Cafe Vida, Canggu (84k)
My absolute favorite on this list. You MUST go here, I mean look at how gorgeous this Amazon Acai bowl is. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it. It took me a while to eat it since I couldn’t stop taking photos. When I finally dipped my spoon into the bowl, I discovered it is just as tasty as it is beautiful. Also, the smoothie bowls here are made from purely organic ingredients and super-foods making it one of the healthier and unique options in this list.
5. The Shady Shack, Canggu (75k)
You can’t go to Canggu and NOT visit The Shady Shack, it’s a favorite among digital nomads that live here. Their entire menu is great but I especially enjoyed their version of the dragon fruit bowl. I would come here for breakfast and then end up enjoying the atmosphere so much I would extend my stay into lunch. If you do the same, I also recommend the springs rolls.
6. Cafe Organic Bali (60-75K)
With locations in both Canggu and Seminyak, Cafe Organic knows how to prepare a smoothie bowl. Another place where digital nomads set up to work from, there is an indoor and outdoor area in the Canggu location with strong internet.
7. The Loft Bali (68k)
For any of you that follow @doyoutravel and @gypsea_lust, you may be interested in knowing my friend Greta and I actually saw them here! They were sitting under the “You’ll see it when you believe it” pink wall on the couch outside. It’s a cute cafe serving up one of my favorite bowls!
8. Monsieur Spoon, Canggu (70k)
I worked from Monsieur Spoon for a week straight when I was on an intense deadline. It was the absolute best place to set up for an entire day because their menu was perfect for breakfast, lunch and snack time. After enjoying a delicious smoothie bowl, I would always get the avocado smash and the almond croissant. This is a french bakery in Canggu and I will NEVER forget their almond croissants!
