As soon as I walked into Mesón Panza Verde, I knew I would enjoy my stay. This luxury boutique hotel has twelve unique suites, a renowned restaurant, and amazing vista points. I had an opportunity to go on a tour with this hotel through several of their available suites and each were decorated beautifully with something special in each room. With yoga classes, good food and a central location, this hotel has everything you need to do in Antigua! Also, I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel’s sister property on Lake Atitlan called Villas B’alam Ya and loved it just as much. Check out my photo gallery below showcasing my experience staying at Panza Verde, with an inside look at some of the suites.

Panza Verde – Restaurant
One of the absolute highlights of my stay at Panza Verde was dining at the attached restaurant, where I enjoyed several of my favorite meals in Antigua. Also, I was fortunate enough to meet the Head Chef, Noé Sicán. Noé prepared a special lunch for me to taste and I enjoyed every dish. First, I tasted a salmon and trout based spread with bread. For the fish course, I had delicious lobster with a Caribbean influenced sauce. The main entree was a Guatemalan duck confit with hibiscus sauce, a unique twist on the classic. Every bite was scrumptious. Overall, this restaurant is one of the best in Antigua, I highly recommend enjoying at least one meal here.
Please note I was welcomed as a guest by Mesón Panza Verde. As always, all opinions are my own.
