Welcome To The Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Glitz and glam welcome you as you enter through the inviting and impressive lobby of the The Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur.  Above you’ll see a hanging chandelier of floating crystals that shine its light through the lobby into the entrances of the connected lobby bar and restaurant. Similar to Intercontinental Hotel’s around the world, this one has an amazing location nearby all the action of Kuala Lumpur. Walk outside, turn left and follow the path to see the famous Petronas Twin Towers surrounded by the lush KLCC Park. The hotel also offers a complimentary hotel shuttle to the Bukit Bintang entertainment district among other neighborhoods with top tourist attractions.

Beyond an ideal location, the hotel has 473 guest rooms with 110 Grand Premier rooms designed for leisure and business travelers. I had the privilege of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms and felt beyond comfortable in the massive bed with a large bathroom, complete with a jacuzzi. I also had access to the Club Level where I enjoyed an ala carte breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour.

Tao Chinese Cuisine & Tatsu Japanese Cuisine

On the first level of the hotel are two amazing restaurants that offer Chinese and Japanese cuisines with sophisticated twists. During my stay, I visited both restaurants Tao and Tatsu, which come highly recommended. They have each received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and the numerous dishes I tasted exceeded all of my expectations.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur and would absolutely stay here again. I actually expected it to be strictly catered to the business traveler, but I was pleasantly surprised. From the comfortable rooms to the delicious food options and beautiful and luxurious interior decor, I loved staying here.

Please note I was welcomed as a guest by the Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur. As always, all opinions are my own.
