I was so excited to stay at the Hotel Indigo, Hong Kong on Hong Kong Island for my first few nights in the big city. I really like Hotel Indigo’s, my family and I always stay at the one in Chicago when we’re in town to visit my sister. Find my complete review of the hotel below, including photos. You’ll soon discover why this was one of my favorite hotel stays and collaborations to date!
The Room And More At Hotel Indigo, Hong Kong
Our room was incredible and the hotel was gorgeous, complete with a rooftop bar, pool deck and restaurant. It also has the best location in the Wan Chai neighborhood, where pretty much the heart and soul of Hong Kong is. We loved being able to walk around to all of the major attractions right from the hotel, also conveniently located next to the metro and bus stations. The views from the room, restaurant, and rooftop were unbelievable as tall buildings surround you giving you a taste for the city life. Natural light fill this hotel giving it a fresh and bright vibe. One of the major highlights of staying here was a complimentary WiFi device in every room, we used it everyday while we were out and about. Also, we were actually in town during Chinese New Year and the lobby and front entrance was decorated accordingly putting us right into the spirit!
Indicolite Restaurant at Hotel Indigo, Hong Kong
My friend Jen and I loved the daily breakfasts, complete with both local and international options. My favorite was actually the fresh fruit, three egg omelette and of course the chocolate muffins, I actually think I ate maybe 5 a day (if not more). Jen’s favorite was the congee with fried egg noodle along with the poached salmon and egg with pesto sauce, and she had a thing for the granola and yogurt. Photos compliments of yours truly and my friend, Jennifer Chow.
Overall, we had an amazing experience staying at the Hotel Indigo. Below are the highlights:
- The staff were very friendly and accommodating in answering all of our questions!
- The bed in our room was unbelievably comfortable.
- The rooftop terrace has a beautiful pool with a see through glass section looking down to the street below, so unique.
- The complimentary WiFi device that we used everyday.
- The daily breakfast buffet options were something that made us want to wake up in the morning!
- The views from our room and the rooftop terrace were unbeatable.
